What this site collects, why, and what you can do about it

Volume Prancha (volumeprancha.com.br) is operated by Eduardo Moreira, an individual, in Brazil. The site is governed by Brazil's LGPD (Law 13.709/2018), under which he is the controller of the data processed here.

No sign-up, no login, no newsletter, no contact form. You do not type a name, email, phone number or ID anywhere on this site, and we have no way of tying your use of the calculator to your identity.
But one thing needs saying plainly: when you use the calculator, the values you pick — including your body weight — are sent to Google Analytics as parameters of a usage event, so that we can tell how the tool is being used.
Those values travel without any identifier tying them to you: no name, no email, no document, because we hold none of those. Even so, we would rather state this explicitly than hide behind the absence of a form.
We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Through them the following is collected:
We do not collect sensitive personal data as defined in art. 5, II of the LGPD.
_ga, _ga_*): distinguish visitors and sessions for statistical purposes.Advertising: this site does not currently load any advertising library, and therefore sets no advertising cookies. If advertising returns, this policy will be updated first — the date at the top marks the revision.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site keeps working without them — the calculator runs entirely on your own device.
The processing described above rests on the controller's legitimate interest (art. 7, IX of the LGPD): understanding how the tool is used in order to improve it. That interest is balanced by the data being statistical, not identifying you, and not feeding any automated decision about you.
The data described is processed by Google LLC, acting as processor, on servers outside Brazil. This constitutes an international transfer under art. 33 of the LGPD, covered by Google's own contractual safeguards. See the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, rent or otherwise pass data to third parties for any other purpose.
Analytics navigation data is retained for the period configured on the property, after which the platform deletes it automatically.
Art. 18 of the LGPD gives you the right to obtain, at any time: confirmation that processing exists; access to the data; correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data; anonymisation, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data; portability; deletion of data processed on the basis of consent; information about who the data was shared with; and withdrawal of consent.

An honest limitation: because we collect no identifiers, in practice we cannot locate "your data" inside aggregated statistics in order to retrieve or delete it individually. The effective way to stop the collection is to block cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We would rather say so than promise a procedure we could not carry out.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may complain to the ANPD — Brazil's National Data Protection Authority: gov.br/anpd.
